Startups are on a peak in Pakistan but still very much less work is being done on technology startups. And the major problem is the lack of resources available for developing hardware in the country.
However, there are some brilliant startups that are working, and succeeding. One of these is the starup “Lets Innovate”, working on a smart helmet for bikers.
HELLI Smart Helmet
HELLI is a “Smart Helmet” which purpose is to not only protect your head but also to keep people connected with the world at the same time.
The CEO of Lets Innovate, Ali Syed says:
“We as a team came together back in 2015, with a vision to do something different in the field of technology on our own terms.”
HELLI comes with numerous amazing features including built-in Bluetooth, speakers, heart-rate sensor, dash cam, as well as GPS. It is also weather resistant and has an aerodynamic design.
The great thing about HELLI is that it features indicators on the back, which function through a small device that can be clamped on your bike’s indicators.
It makes riding even more safer by connecting to your smartphone and enabling you to take calls while riding. It comes with its dedicated mobile application, through which you can see your past location history.
The best part about this smart helmet is the shock/fall detection feature. In case of an unfortunate event, it automatically connects to emergency services nearby with the help of GPS location. The feature works by connecting to the phone via Bluetooth and calling the numbers saved in the app.
Lets Innovate hasn’t launched HELLI commercially yet and there is no word on how much it will cost either. According to its CEO Ali Syed, the aim is to keep it affordable while providing exceptional customer service.
