On Thursday, December 22, Mobilink and Warid merge program got final approval from the Islamabad High Court. Earlier this year Mobilink and Warid received approvals from Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA), Competition Commission of Pakistan, Securities and Exchange Commission Pakistan, local and international creditors and State Bank of Pakistan.

Final approval to merge two big telecom companies of Pakistan is a big step towards future. The program will be able to offer better and bigger services to its users.

The merged company will be able to serve more than 51 million users of both Mobilink and Warid, with the latest 3G and LTE services. It is a big breakthrough in the telecom industry of Pakistan.
